There are several ways in which one can gain renown
upon the field;
by demonstrating great skill at arms in the lists,
or through teamwork and ferocity upon the battlefield.
However, there are those combatants at any level of skill
whose equitable and noble actions upon the field stand out
and provide a good example for others to follow.
Thus the Vanguard of Honor was created to identify
those whose honorable conduct and continuing leadership
upon the field are worthy of recognition.
The symbol borne by those who have been so recognized
is a braided arm band of orange and black cord.
At this time Their Majesties summon ____________
to present himself (herself/themselves) before Them.
From the ranks of the Vanguard of Honor,
A captain may be chosen by the Crown
to advise on such matters as seem appropriate.
Their Majesties at this time to name ____________
to this role.
